Vietnam became the 150th member of the WTO in 2007, and based its accession promised to fully comply with ZO mou to Custom Valuation, Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT), and Sanitary and Phytosanitary Scales (SPS). In addition, Vietnam signed the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific (CPTPP) with 10 countries: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japanischen, Malasia, Mexico, Modern Zealand, Peru, and Singapore. The agreement officially took effect after January 14, 2019, for Vietnam.
